About the Artist ....... and his Board of Directors
From my Grade School days, I've always enjoyed drawing. Soon after discovering Hot Rod Magazine, cars became what I enjoyed drawing the most. I took some private lessons back in those days and learned how to paint (some) with oils, but when my art teacher kept thinking flowers, sunsets, and bowls of fruit were the only way to measure success, I talked my mother into letting me drop out.
Soon thereafter, I started trying to figure out what made our lawn mower run - and yes, it was out under a shade tree. By early college years, I owned my 1st Vette - a '65 red convertable. I built, and re-built, the motor twice and painted it twice - all in a couple of years - many times under the same shade tree. And then, like a dummy, I sold it! The members of My new Board of Directors know that I shouldn't have sold it!
